I found Zenkai as they partner with Filium. Filium (Ably) are superb as I suffer with extreme hyperhidrosis. I can look like I have run a marathon after doing the washing up with luke warm water for 5 minutes. Ably has been a life changer for me, and it is great to see that brands are now adopting their filium technology. I can wear a normal polo shirt and the whole thing can be completely soaked within an hour, but with the filium technology I can wear it the whole day and no-one would ever know that underneath I am absolutely drenched with sweat. Seriously, Filium has been a game changer for me and has given me my life back.
I have pretty much bought every "sweat proof" top available, and the only ones that work are the Filium activated ones. I have imported tops from all over the world, and nothing comes close to Filium activated clothing.
But sadly, I received my first polo from Zenkai, and whereas I always buy a large from Ably, the large from Zenkai is tight fitting. Actually, so tight fitting for a guy with a few extra pounds that I wont be able to wear it. But, I have put water on it, and it has the same qualities as the filium polos that I always buy, so I will buy another the next size up. Unfortunately I am in the UK, so importing from the US costs a small fortune what with the shipping and the import duties.
I have to say that although the polo that I bought is too small for me, the quality of the material is superb, and also very stretchy (so very comfortable). I think that this will become my new favourite polo. So if you have a good physique, go for your normal size, but if you have a few extra pounds that you would like to hide I would recommend going a size up to your normal size. I will be buying again but I will buy an XL and also an XXL to see which I prefer. Just a shame that it costs me so much to import to the UK.
As a note to Zenkai, as someone that thinks that blue is the best colour for polo shirts, can I recommend that you have various flavours of blue! Ably only have one colour available (they used to have two, but Ocean (my favourite colour) is no longer available) so I always wear the same polo wherever I go.
But to summarise, if you get embarrassed from sweat patches, Filium is the answer, and thank you to Zenkai for adopting it, and making such a nice Polo.
